After 16 months without proper live music, it looks like we’re finally back in business. Quite literally for me here at Gigmouths. Without any live gigs to promote and write about, the site has sat pretty much dormant.

However, the website is now gonna be kicked into top gear. I am gonna try my best to keep the gig database updated regularly and ensure that every gig from the 12 current Gigmouths venues (find out which venues they are here) is listed on the site at least a couple of weeks prior.

So with up and coming bands desperate to burst out onto the scene, and venues keen to have crowds returning, there’s no better time to use the tools available on the site to find some new dates for your calendar.

Gigmouths.com has 3 ways to find the live music you wanna hear:

  1. Gig Search:
This tool gives you the ability to precisely filter the gigs in the database to find exactly what you are looking for. You can filter by: Artist Name, Venue, Date and Price.
    .
  2. Gig Calendar:
Displays all of the gigs in a calendar format so you can easily see what options you have on the days you want to go out.
    .
  3. The Gig List:
Provides all of the gigs on the database in one place. Automatically sorts by date, they can instead be sorted by price low to to high or high to low. A useful tool if you want a general overview of the gigs coming up across the next couple of weeks.

I am always working on the site making small aesthetic tweaks here and there and developing new ways to discover. If you have any suggestions on how to make the site even better, let me know through any of the channels listed in the About/Contact page.

That’s all I have to say. I am overjoyed that live music is finally coming back and I cannot wait to get to my first gig. I hope my website proves useful to many of you and helps you rediscover live music.
