Underneath the University of Manchester Students Union you’ll find Club Academy. One of the 4 academy venues in the SU and the 3rd biggest. It can contain 650 standing people and features a long bar along one of its sides.
Me and a few of my friends saw Love Fame Tragedy here, the solo project of The Wombats Matt Murphy. The venue is long and thin creating a gradient of energy from the front to the back. This means there’s an ideal place to be no matter how much energy you want to throw into it.
