I started Gigmouths as a passion project whilst at Uni. I am currently studying Maths and The University of Manchester hence why the site is based here.
My favourite bands would be: The Beatles, Oasis and The Beach Boys. More recent artists I’ve been listening to are: Blossoms, Royal Blood and The Lathums.
My favourite gig ever was watching The Rolling Stones at St Mary’s stadium. As for small gigs it would be watching Bloxx perform at Heartbreakers Southampton, supported by Vistas.

Hello! I’m Amber, and I study History at the University of Manchester, currently in my second year.
My favourite bands and artists are The Cure, The Smiths, David Bowie and Blur. Some of the newer bands I’ve been listening to include The Magic Gang, The Lathums, and Blossoms.
If I had to choose a favourite gig, it’d either be seeing Joji at Leeds Festival 2019, or Feeder at the Albert Hall in Manchester in November 2019. In terms of smaller gigs, I enjoyed seeing Bloxx at Neighbourhood Festival 2019 and when they supported Twin Atlantic in March 2020.
Currently we are not looking for any new Gigmouths writers or staff. This is purely down to the current small scale of the website. I really hope the website will blossom in the future. At this point in time we will be looking for lots of new, exciting, passionate people to be part of the team. To best be informed on when these opportunities arise, follow us on our social accounts as we will be posting info there first.
